Q: Do I need to get a permit for my project?
A: Definitely! Obtaining a permit makes sure your project is in compliance with Ontario Building Code. Inspections of the project insure your safety!
Q: Do we need to obtain our own permits?
A: No. York Construction Company Inc. will get all relevant permits required on your behalf.
Q: Why should I do a home renovation?
A: Property value is increasing at a high rate. It is wise for homeowners to perform remodelling or renovations as required to protect the value of the home and avoid any disaster related expenses.
Q: What renovations increase the value of a home?
A: It is common believe that kitchens, bathrooms or income suites (such as basement apartments) provide the highest home value increases.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes, we carry $2,000,000 liability insurance and have WSIB. We will provide all clients with copies of our certificates.
Q: Do you provide a warranty on your projects?
A: Yes. All standard renovation or remodelling projects come with a 2-year warranty.

Q: Do you provide financing for your projects?
A: Yes. Financing is available for all renovation projects. York Construction Company Inc. works closely with lenders to provide you the best rates. If you are interested in having a project financed please notify us and we will have our finance advisor meet with you.
Q: What areas do you work in?
A: We will work on all projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
Q: Do you provide references?
A: Yes. Please see our reviews. We will also provide a list of previous clients when requested.
Q: Can you help us with the design?
A: Yes. We can provide interior designs and architectural/engineer drawings.
Q: Do we need to find electrical or plumbing contractors?
A: No. York Construction Company Inc. provides all required trades from start to finish.
